WHITESQ / PROCESS & QUALITY

Agree the build.
Check the result.

A clear instruction from incoming components to finished packs.

Every packing project has its own contents, materials and finishing details. We agree what needs to be made, how it should look and which checks matter, then use that specification throughout the run.

FROM BRIEF TO HANDOVER

Five stages of a packing project.

  1. 01

    Share the requirement

Tell us what products and packaging will arrive, what belongs in each finished pack, the quantity required and your deadline. Include variants, retailer instructions and any batch or expiry restrictions.

  2. 02

    Agree the specification and quote

We discuss the assembly sequence, print and label details, seals, checks and finished appearance. Samples, photographs or approved artwork can help define the result. Price, timing, material responsibilities and handover arrangements are agreed before production is booked.

  3. 03

    Prepare the materials and instructions

Products, packaging and the build instructions need to be available for the agreed work. We check the information and quantities needed for the run and raise discrepancies that could affect production.

  4. 04

    Build and check

The team assembles the packs to the agreed instructions and records its output. Checks focus on the details of your build, such as product counts, variants, presentation, print details, seals and packaging condition.

  5. 05

    Complete the checks and handover

Before dispatch, we record the final quality checks and confirm the finished carton and pallet quantities. Completed goods are prepared for the agreed collection or handover. Outstanding materials or unfinished work are identified separately.

THE CHECKS

Check the details
that define your pack.

The checks and sampling requirements are agreed for the project. Depending on the build, these can include:

  • Correct product, flavour or variant and quantity in each pack.
  • Correct packaging components, assembly and finished appearance.
  • Batch and expiry print, label content and placement.
  • Required seals and packaging condition.
  • Retail packs per master carton, carton identification and pallet quantities.

THE RECORDS

Keep the work
accounted for.

Our operations records connect production with the job and pallet. Quality checks record who carried them out and the number of cartons checked. Outbound pallet movements are recorded with the handover details.

Batch and expiry requirements remain part of the agreed instructions. Tell us about any restrictions on combining products or batches before the work starts.

These records support the team carrying out the build and help us review completed quantities and exceptions.

WHEN SOMETHING CHANGES

Raise the issue.
Agree the next step.

Missing products, damaged packaging or a change in instructions can affect what can be completed. We raise the issue and agree the response before continuing the affected work.

Material shortfallsAgree whether to wait for more materials or complete an authorised quantity.

Changes to the buildConfirm revised contents, packaging, artwork or instructions before using them.

Partial completionRecord completed output and the outstanding quantity separately. Closing a build does not replace final quality checks or dispatch approval.
